Richard and Jake both love blended margaritas – without alcohol of course. Jake’s such a fan that we actually put together a margarita gift box last Christmas complete with mixer, salt, and glasses. That’s why I was super excited to learn that Old Orchard Brands now has a blend and serve line of frozen mixers with flavors including Margarita, Pina Colada, and Strawberry Daiquiri. I wanted to review them and share my findings, but Richard hasn’t been able to find them at the store yet. As soon as he does, I’ll be giving them a try with the exception of Pina Colada – because coconut, eww.

The new Old Orchard Frozen Mixers are available at Walmart and other fine retailers starting in July. They are all sold in 12-ounce plastic cans for $1.98 each. When we drink Old Orchard frozen juices, we use two in a gallon pitcher and they are delicious. Richard’s favorite is grape, mine is their orange juice and lemonade. Anyway, back to the frozen mixers – all three flavors are made with real fruit juice and makes up to six, eight-ounce servings. They can be blended with your favorite run for a bold, fun flavor or simply with water for a refreshing drink the entire family can cool off with.

Old Orchard Strawberry Daiquiri

Old Orchard frozen juices and mixers come in a microwavable plastic container which I appreciate. Sometimes I forget to set them out on the counter or put them in the fridge to thaw. It can be a little annoying trying to dump a block of frozen juice into a pitcher with water and use a spoon to mix it up. Popping them into the microwave cuts the wait time in half and allows for a quick mixing with water. I can then enjoy it right away! The new frozen mixers join Old Orchard’s existing line of beverages that includes fruit juices, iced coffee, frozen lemonade and sweet tea varieties.
