Crest & Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Review

Here’s some honesty for you. My teeth are not great. I didn’t take good care of them when I was younger and I’m paying for it now. I’ve had several broken teeth removed and have a chipped tooth in the front that prevents me from smiling with my mouth open. I need a lot of work done, but unfortunately it’s extremely expensive and not in my budget at this time.

I’ve since taken a much more proactive approach to my oral hygiene and there is a new line from Crest & Oral-B which helps me accomplish this. It includes Crest Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Toothpaste, Crest Pro-Health Clinical Rinse, Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Pro-Flex Toothbrush, and Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Clinical Protection Floss. When the products are used together they protect against plaque, cavities, gingivitis, sensitivity, tartar, stains, and bad breath.

The toothpaste I reviewed has a light minty flavor, not overly flavored like some other toothpastes I’ve tried. It has a grit to it which I like because I really feel like it’s cleaning my teeth. I haven’t noticed any reduction of the stains on my teeth, but they have felt clean. Richard hasn’t complained of bad breath lately so I think it’s working as far as that goes.

The toothbrush is nice, it has little ends on it that massage your gums and an angled head that helps you get hard to reach places.

I liked the floss, it was very easy to work with. I’ve used some flosses that get stuck in between my teeth and then shred as I try to pull it out. That didn’t happen with this kind, it glides pretty smoothly between teeth.

The rinse was different. It didn’t burn like most mouthwashes and it sort of foamed up while I was swishing it around. I had to rinse with water after I used it to get the rest of the foam out of my mouth. It did help my mouth feel fresh.

I’m pretty happy with the Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control line. While my teeth are far from perfect, I do feel I’m doing my part to maintain good oral hygiene and prevent any future problems.
